Journal entry: Pulling friends along is an excuse for not doing

Over the years, I’ve started almost every idea by asking a friend for their opinion—what they think, and eventually, if they’d want to join in (be it a business venture, a class, or something else).

Almost without fail, the answer has been no. Or worse, yes—followed by a gradual flaking out.

In that moment, what you choose to do next is what it’s all about. Did you even care? Was it just about attention?

Only you know the answer.
